Ditch Your Razor, Try Our Laser

Laser hair reduction is the gold standard for both men and women looking to reduce the amount of unwanted hair from virtually any area of the body. Not only will it allow you the freedom to be hair-free without shaving, waxing or tweezing, it can also greatly reduce the occurrence of ingrown hairs. However, it is important to note that laser hair reduction is not effective for individuals with light blond, grey, red or silver hair. The ideal laser hair reduction candidate has light, untanned skin, and dark, coarse hair. Because our goal is to treat you safely yet effectively, we highly recommend that you avoid sun exposure and the use of self-tanning products prior to your treatment.

How Does it Work?

Cutera Xeo Nd:Yag has multi-wavelength hair reduction energies that work synergistically to treat a wide range of hair reduction concerns. During treatment, laser beams of the most advanced hair reduction wavelengths pass through the skin targeting the hair follicles. This penetrating energy is absorbed by the hair, which is then transferred into heat, damaging the stem cells to prevent future hair growth.

How Many Treatments Do I Need?

You will begin to see results after ONE treatment! However, to have lasting results you will need approximately 6-10 treatments- 4-6 weeks apart.

The laser targets the pigment in the hairs in the antigen phase, or growth phase of a hair follicle. As those hairs die and shed, new ones will be generated. At any moment, various hairs on your body are going through different stages of growth. This is why you need multiple treatments to fully get rid of the hair and prevent future growth.

Before your treatment:

-Do not wax or tweeze for at minimum 4 weeks. This is so we can actively treat the hair follicle itself!

-Do not tan - you should avoid sun exposure due to the extra melanin which can attract the laser beam.

-Do not use artificial tanners or healthy glow cream 4 week prior- this can cause in burns from the laser.

-SHAVE 1-2 days prior to your treatment or immediately before your treatment
